Bullitt Racing to make a second, post-season race appearance in the eighth Gulf 12 Hours at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina circuit in December.

October 25, 2018, Manchester, UK. –

Andy Meyrick will have a busy end of the season racing with Bullitt Racing. The Spanish-based team will also compete in the Gulf 12 Hours on Saturday, December 15, which follows on from the inaugural SRO GT4 World Final at the Bahrain GT Festival, located at the home of motorsport in the Middle East on 30 November and 1 December 2018.

Meyrick will be driving the Mercedes AMG GT4 with regular co-driver Stephen Pattrick in both races. For the Gulf 12 Hours the pair will also be joined by Micha Stanley. Meyrick last raced in the Abu Dhabi Gulf 12 Hour event in 2013 as a factory driver for Bentley with M-Sport Bentley and successfully debuted the new Bentley Continental GT3, bringing home a fourth-placed result.

In July, Meyrick and Pattrick enjoyed an exciting win at Spa Francorchamps in the fourth round of the Northern European GT4 Championship. The pair hope to continue this level of performance in the Middle East.

“2018 has been a good year for us”, said Meyrick. “We achieved what felt like the elusive first win of the season in Spa after being close in previous races, we got to grips with a new car very quickly and Stephen has been driving fantastically. I’m really looking forward to both races. We definitely have the ability to add to our win tally and end the year well.”
